How To Make a Good Governance

Governance is the use of economic powers, political and administration to manage the affairs of the state at all levels. Governance covers the entire mechanism, processes and institutions in which citizens and groups to express their interests, using the legal rights, obligations and bridging the differences between them.

Another definition says governance is a resource management mechanism that involves economic and social influence of the state sector and non-governmental sectors in a collective effort. This definition assumes a lot of actors are involved where there is no dominant that determine the motion of the other actors. The first message of the terminology governance denied a formal understanding of the workings of state institutions. Governance recognizes that there are many people in the decision-making center that works on different levels.

Furthermore, it is mentioned that in the context of development, the definition of governance is the management mechanism of economic and social resources for development purposes, so that good governance, therefore, is a mechanism for the management of economic and social resources are substantial and its application to support the stable development of the main requirements efficient) and the (relatively) evenly.

In my opinion to make good governance is through community participation, rule of law, transparency, responsiveness, orientation agreements, equity, effectiveness and efficiency, accountability. Given these elements, I think good governance will be realized in Indonesia.
